Drug Uses
Vaniqa is an effective cream prescribed for reduction of unwanted facial hair in women Vaniqa interferes with an enzyme of the hair follicle thus slowing hair growth on the areas where the cream is applied. Vaniqa doesn't remove hair or depilate them. However Vaniqa is a great solution that will help you to improve your appearance.
How Taken
Wash your face and remove any makeup. Vaniqa is applied as a thin layer only on the areas that you want to slow the hair growth. Rub in the cream and do not wash the area for 4 hours. Use Vaniqa twice a day in the morning and in the evening. When the treated area dries you can apply cosmetics.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the Missed Dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
Storage
Keep the product away heat, moisture and light. The temperature should be between 59 – 86 °F (15 – 30 °C). Make sure children cannot reach it.

Do not reuse applicators. Do not use this medicine for other health conditions. If your symptoms do not improve or if they worsen, contact your doctor.
Warnings/Precautions
Do not use Vaniqa if you have had an allergic reaction to it in the past.
Vaniqa is in the FDA pregnancy category C. This means that it is not known whether Vaniqa will harm an unborn baby. Do not use this medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant.
It is also not known whether Vaniqa passes into breast milk. Do not use Vaniqa without first talking to your doctor if you are breast–feeding a baby.
Vaniqa has not been approved for use by children younger than 12 years of age.

Possible Side Effects
Vaniqa may cause temporary redness, stinging, burning, tingling or rash on areas of the skin where it is applied. Hair bumps may also occur. If these persist, consult your doctor. Treatment related skin adverse events that occurred in less than 1% of the subjects treated with Vaniqa are- bleeding skin, cheilitis, and contact dermatitis, swelling of lips, herpes simplex, numbness and rosacea. Adverse events were primarily mild in intensity and generally resolved without medical treatment or discontinuation of Vaniqa.
